I love animals. It's that simple. Especially dogs. So I decided 5+ years ago to make a career change to something for which I have a great passion. I currently have two Great Pyrenees who are part of my family, and each dog who has ever been a part of my life before has taken a piece of my heart (and given me a piece of theirs). I was trained to have excellent scissor and clipper skills, believe in safe and compassionate handling, attention to detail and a firm, caring touch for outstanding groom results every time. The internationally accredited curriculum used at my grooming school gave me a detailed education on all aspects of the industry, from breed standards to animal health and safety to detailed proper procedures on everything from bathing to finishing a groom with a personal touch. My education background is in veterinary technology and biology. I've had over 20 years of running multiple successful businesses. I know the importance of serving a customer well and providing the best service possible, every time. I believe that a groomer should be a professional on whom a client can rely to be not only a well-educated and skilled groomer, but also a trusted advisor for all things dog. If I don't know how to help, I'll find someone who can. To me, a dog's best place is as part of his or her family. So it's part of my job to help make sure that family dog can remain an accepted member with cleanliness, ease of care, good behavior and health. And being mobile and coming right to your home makes that easier on everyone!
